The Sinners
SinVR is an adult VR gaming experience with a sadistic twist. Things like dungeons and torture chambers are a common sight in the virtual worlds that SinVR likes to create but these sadomasochistic themes are always offset by a playful spirit that keeps the game from feeling too dark. SinVR is a company with a sense of humor and this spiteful mood seems to be a common theme across their entire business model. It’s also detectable in their frequent messages to their online community where they say, “help us develop the most immersive, interactive and hilarious experiences, to bring joy to all you Sinners out there.”
“Sinners” is what SinVR likes to call its fanbase and their number is growing at an alarming rate. Currently sitting at well over 300 active patrons, SinVR’s community of supporters is one of the largest of any independent adult VR studio out there right now. But does the quality of the game warrant all of this support?
Style Over Substance?
SinVR is an adult VR game with style. That much is undeniable. Everything from the sleek, sophisticated website, to the tastefully crafted game interface, are done with a level of refinement that is rare for the industry. Colorful details like the cheeky loading screen text not only contribute to the game’s mischievous mood but also give a playful nod to SinVR’s influences like Blizzard Entertainment and Rockstar Games.
Of course, style isn’t everything. There’s also the matter of substance. Fortunately, SinVR has created some genuine content to back-up the bells and whistles. With over half a dozen different models and an even greater number of sex locations to stick them in, SinVR has an impressive library of visual content to keep you engaged for quite some time.
This is in addition to the wide variety of sex positions and extra features that are available for each of the individual models. As SinVR proudly boasts, “each girl has her own unique voice and personality. We are adding new girls on a regular basis, attempting to add a new girl each month.” While the goal of a new girl each month might be a bit ambitious, it does seem that SinVR is deeply committed to regularly updating their content so there’s every reason to believe the pool of available models will continue to grow.
Actual Gameplay
The actual gaming experience is surprisingly fluid and user-friendly, especially considering the large library of content that the user has to choose from. Often, the tendency for VR porn games with a lot of content is to overwhelm the user with too many options at once. This can slow down the gameplay and make the experience feel unnecessarily cumbersome.
While certainly not perfect, SinVR has managed to present its controls in a way that makes the gameplay feel intuitive and responsive. Even a novice can easily navigate the menu system and adjust the scene to fit his preferences. Options like penis visibility and perspective height add just enough customization to make the user feel in control without bogging them down with too much technical information.
The game isn’t without its drawbacks, though. One of the most glaring shortcomings in the game involves the models’ facial expressions. It’s common knowledge that facial expressions are one of the hardest characteristics to reproduce in CGI models and so I commend SinVR for having the ambition to actually tackle this challenge.
Nevertheless, they failed miserably. It would have been much better if the game had simply removed facial expressions entirely than include the bizarre, epileptic facial contortions that often occur during gameplay. Of course, the technology is always improving and given SinVR’s track record, there’s reasonable hope that they might correct this problem in future updates.
Looking Forward
SinVR is quickly emerging as an industry leader. Their high degree of talent and recognition means that other designers are already beginning to look to them for inspiration. The hope is that as SinVR continues to grow they will remember their roots and use this new-found leverage to amplify their initial levels of innovation and make us all just a little more sinful in the process.

The one thing i always love about SinVR is that it puts a lot of detailing not only on its character but also the surrounding…. But i do agree to the point made here that facial expressions for each models is something you should be working upon seriously
