However, we aren’t quite talking about a Macbeth or a Tempest: the idea behind the story is so simple that it can be told in just one sentence. So here we go: you’re a lucky guy who gets laid with two gorgeous babes because it’s raining outside and there isn’t anything fun or thrilling to do. The idea is a little ridiculous, but we can all recall instances from our lives when we had sex for the most ridiculous and dumb reasons conceivable. However, we’re talking about a threesome so it might sound a little far-fetched that you’re such a stud that you’re desired by two gorgeous babes who do their best to seduce you and have you all for themselves.

However, the Spanish accent of Amarna Miller brings a rather interesting feeling of exoticism, sensuality, and ultimately arousal. It’s pretty sexy to enjoy the attention of European ladies who might be struggling to make themselves understood in English but do a great job speaking the universal language of sex. And unlike certain Czech or Hungarian productions where the English is hardly comprehensive, this one is clearer and doesn’t leave you wondering about the meaning – the Spanish vowels give the sound a more passionate edge.

Whilst Amarna is wearing an innocence-suggesting pink outfit consisting of a fabric-made corset and cotton stockings, Noe Milk brings reminiscences of Naomi Campbell with her elegant yet traditional one-piece white dress. The costumes, as well as the overall setting and scenery, look very casual and typical for a modern living room. That’s why the film does a great job at creating that “everyday” vibe, as if this is just another experience from your exciting life, and you weren’t teleported into some kind of fantasy world after putting your VR headset on. In the context, this is appropriate and very nice.

Just like many releases at the time, “Rainy Day” features only two positions: cowgirl and reverse cowgirl.

This might seem like a drawback or disappointment for somebody who’s watched VirtualRealPorn’s more recent interactive video “All Day Long“, which allows you to choose whatever it is that you want to see and features a diversity of positions, situations, and fetishes (so many that you can spend a whole week trying on variations). But the good news is that this is also a pretty complex and diverse film for its time.

And here’s another detail to look for: both ladies have bushes (as in pubic hair). Somehow, the sight of hair in intimate parts makes the scenes feel a lot more natural and believable since you have the certainty that you’re not dealing with some glamor models who shave every day just because they appear in front of a camera. Moreover, it’s well-known that pornstars from the 2D realm are a lot more obsessed with their looks and to find a couple of ladies who simply give themselves to you in their authentic and natural state adds up to the likeability and immersion of the whole film.

The comparison, though, is a little unfair: we’re applying contemporary standards to a film that was released in the early days of VR porn, and this could have easily been a perfect 10 title whose bold pioneering steps would have received unanimous praise.

It’s fascinating to see just how far we’ve come, and how our desires and expectations were spoiled by the advancements.
