Here is how: Genre symbols such as VR Kanojo, Sexaroid Girlfriend, and to some extent, Honey Select tend to be fully-fledged games when released. It’s also the standard for VR porn games on Patreon to be highly customizable sex-focused experiences. Making a catered game tends to be challenging and time-consuming. And yet SixyVR is here, attempting to make it as a girlfriend experience on Patreon as a virtual reality exclusive? That’s a tough sell, isn’t it?
Not in this case.
The developer’s goals are clear: Multiple girls each with a distinct personality. If the game’s past updates are any indicator of what’s to come, then he’s likely to focus on game systems first before adding new girls.
There’s an emphasis on building up the foundation of the game so that any further implementation could have its progress streamlined. Furthermore, the games core mechanics – as we’ll later discuss – are more user-friendly and more accessible than some of the other games I’ve listed. They’re also bound to be easier to develop and to troubleshoot. In that sense, this game has the most potential when it comes to a “plug – and – play” experience and should be noted for that.
Content & Mechanics
A hand, a banana toy, and a penis. Those are your major means of interaction with Cece. Not much, eh. But I have to admit; I loved the simplicity. Other games tend to overcomplicate simple mechanics to compensate for the limitations of virtual reality. That doesn’t happen here at all. Equip any of the three on each hand, and you’re bound to have a good time.

Everything on the content side just makes sense. While there are a few customization options for Cece – such as changing her hair color, bust size, and clothes – none of the choices subtract anything from the characters core personality. I like that. It sets a distinct tone for her and hopefully other characters to come. Can’t wait to see where the developer will take the game from here.
Closing Thoughts
SixyVR is an Unreal Engine-powered adult VR game that has the potential to deliver an outstanding girlfriend experience. The SixyVR demo is free so give it a shot and let me know what you think. It’s a work in progress so do expect it to be rough around the edges sometimes. But hey, I am a believer. I am aboard the hype train.
