Virtual Vizor looks a bit different than most other VR Headsets. That’s because it has done away with the bulky plastic cover and has replaced it with a pair of standalone VR glasses. By stripping the hardware down to the essentials, the engineers at Virtual Vizor have designed a stylish VR device that’s as comfortable as it is convenient.
Design
The main advantage of Virtual Vizor is the lens design. Other smartphone based headsets, like Google Cardboard, have fixed lenses built into the headset that limit user customization. Virtual Vizor’s open design gives the user direct access to the distance and position of the lenses so that they can adjust everything to their exact specifications.
Another advantage of this open-ended design is that the lenses are universally compatible. Because they aren’t constrained by needless housing, the lenses are able to accommodate any smartphone regardless of make or model.
But, perhaps the greatest advantage of the design is the option to swap out lenses. Because no single lens can do all things perfectly, Virtual Vizor offers two separate pairs of lenses that can be swapped out at the user’s discretion.
Lenses
The first pair of lenses measures 39mm and is designed for high resolution viewing. The 80-degree field of view is a little smaller than some other headsets but this is done deliberately to ensure maximum visual clarity – something that’s especially important for VR porn.
The second pair of lenses is 69mm and is designed to maximize field of view. The wide FOV makes the VR experience much more immersive but there is a slight trade-off in lens acuity.
Accessories
All you really need to enjoy Virtual Vizor are the lenses, but there are a number of accessories included with the glasses. The kit includes two pairs of VR lenses, a baseball cap, a forehead cushion, a lens clip and a shade cover.
One of the great things about the Virtual Vizor lenses is that they can be mounted to any baseball cap. That being said, the cap that comes with the kit has a few extra features that make it especially useful for VR.
Custom Buttons
The cap has exterior buttons and a forehead cushion. The buttons allow you to attach the shade cover securely to the hat. While they aren’t necessary for the shade cover, they are still convenient to have.
The forehead cushion adds a little extra comfort and helps support the weight of the lenses. This cushion is removable and can easily be added to whatever hat you like.
The lens clip is what allows you to mount the lenses to any baseball cap. You simply attach the lenses to the clip and then slide the clip onto the hat of your choosing.
The shade cover is a stretchy piece of cloth designed to minimize light leaks. You can certainly use the headset just fine without the shade cover but if you prefer to completely shut out any outside light you just wrap this around the lenses and you’re good to go.
Versatility
The brilliance of the Virtual Vizor is its versatility. The minimalistic design provides greater customization without greater complexity. While it doesn’t offer the same quality as higher-end headsets, Virtual Vizor’s price and portability make it one of the most convenient ways to experience VR.

Maybe the quickest solution out there.

This is pretty cool. Not a big fancy vr headset, but it’s so convenient, can turn your smartphone in to a vr porn machine.
