A new company called SynTouch could help provide a sense of touch to virtual reality experiences. SynTouch is a startup entirely focused on creating realistic haptics or sensations of touch. A sense of touch or feeling could greatly benefit games and help virtual reality porn. The touchless virtual experiences that exist now could soon be augmented with a SynTouch system that would provide users with stimulating touch sensations that matched what was occurring on virtual reality headsets. Imagine feeling a quivering clit, a hardened nipple, or if you’re a lady, gay dude, or someone that likes to experience something else… you could feel a super realistically simulated throbbing hot hardened veined boner of Thor.
15 Different Tactile Feelings
This could easily become a reality with the system that SynTouch has created. They have created a haptic device and software set up that senses 15 different tactile feelings. Fifteen types of touch may seem limited, but it is a good start. At this point, SynTouch is in a high-level research phase. This means that their work is providing data that will possibly be useful to virtual reality headset makers and porn companies interested in adding haptic elements to the virtual reality experiences. As of now, Oculus is a partner. So similar technology may eventually be integrated into the Oculus Rift.
How does the SynTouch System work?
As previously mentioned, Syntouch focuses on understanding 15 types of sensations. Between these fifteen sensations, there are five focal areas. These are texture, compliance, friction, adhesive, and thermal. These sensorial categories were not just arbitrarily chosen. SynTouch’s research was partially funded by the robotics masters at DARPA. The DARPA folks wanted this kind of technology to provide a sense of touch to people that had robo limbs. By combining the various elements described above, their system can measure the different feelings that a given texture can provide for us humans. More or less, this means that they can numerically describe the feelings that particular objects provide.
SynTouch’s first steps which focus on defining and categorizing sensations are critical steps for the development of haptic technology. This technology could be used to create more immersive virtual reality experiences but also screens that provide different sensations of texture and depth when you touch them.
How will it help Virtual reality porn?
The system that SynTouch sells now is mainly a system used to qualify and quantify distinct sensations that the human finger feels when touching different materials and objects. If a virtual reality porn or sex company was to implement such a device, they could use it to make a more realistic feeling sex device.
Because SynTouch‘s system can measure heat and texture, a company could use this data to create realistic feeling sex toys that could be paired with virtual reality porn. Most easily, a sex toy company could use their system to create a realistic form of synthetic skin. With technology like this, a company could soon make toys that felt the same as the feeling of naughty bits, monster cocks, soft pussies, and the bouncing Babylons that you know and love.
