Bandit 6 by Climax is one of the very first games available for purchase in the Gear VR Oculus Store. The cost is $2.99 and it should give a few hours of fun.
You are a gunner on the side of an airplane in World War 2.
The gameplay is that of a “gaze shooter” which means that you look around at things to shoot. It’s a natural fit for VR.
It has a lot of levels to keep you busy. With enough variety to keep you interested.
As you make progress, you earn currency which allows you to increase in power, such as with better guns. This in turn allows you to defeat harder levels.
The overall atmosphere is very cool. The effect of the various objects flying at you and exploding gives a lot of awe.
