This game has been patched for Quest 3 button compatibility. The side button will open the menu from now on. It was a crippling issue for this one because this game has no menu buttons in the background.
Is there any way to get the menu to appear? It appears in the beginning, shuts off, and then there is no way to get it back and so you can’t change the scene or do anything.
Are you using Quest? If you’re using Quest, it’s easy to call the menu by pressing the side button on the controller.
But if you’re not using Quest and don’t have the side button, like using iPad, then this one is different from others. This one doesn’t have the menu icons on the background. It can’t be fixed.
I’m using a quest 3. The side button doesn’t call the menu, it doesn’t do anything. On either controller. I just went back and tested it to be sure. So your game doesn’t work on the Quest 3. Some of your other games have the same issue.
I just checked, and you’re right. This was originally a Quest Pro issue. Quest 3 was okay when it was launched. But now the side button isn’t working on Q3. Dream Playroom and Idol Playroom are patched, so they are okay. I better prepare patches, but it’s going to take time. (The versions on rockhardvr site are all patched. Search rockhardvr if you’d like)
Meanwhile, Hand Tracking should still work. I’ll prepare patches for the more serious case like this one first.
In some of your other games, you also can’t open the menu, except by the following method: you have to put one of the controllers down, wait about 20 seconds, and then when you pick the controller up again this will open the menu. Is this meant to be the way to open the menu on those games?
“20 seconds” sounds like hand tracking is activating at that moment and the menu is being brought to the front. It needs to be fixed. Patching games on vrporn takes a very long time.
