Anyone else unable to download these videos at 6K and watch them on a VR player? The video only seems to play when I download at 4K. Is there a reason for this, should I be using a different player?
Same. I tried a few players like Skybox and DeoVr. The players either doesnt show the videos or its laggy as hell.
Got a new pc too, so im not sure it comes for the hardware.
Interesting, so I’m not alone. Wonder if its a feature on the site that needs to be fixed, or if there is a specific VR player that needs to be used for these (if so, which one works with the higher quality videos)?
Do you guys have H.265 (HVEC) installed? You need it to run anything higher than 4k even if your hardware is top of the line. You can get it from the microsoft store for free if you do some “research” 🙂

Thanks for the info. Looks like this would solve the problem based on a few videos I watched. I’m gonna pass though. I don’t know where to find a legit copy of this and the sites I googled look like they want to mess up my computer. Rather not risk it when I can just watch these in 4K. If I could guarantee no virus would harm my computer, I’d try it. But this looks kinda risky…
the hevc codec is $1.00 on micro$oft store. i bought it a while ago. works great.
