It seems like they cut corners on furniture and spent most of the budget on the painting, the frame of which has sunken behind the couch.

Your name is apparently ‘Mr. Pierce,’ a really badass name in my opinion. Dillion, who is wearing a definitely-not-obvious pearl necklace, says (0:32) “We haven’t really got physical with these sessions.” Look, I’ve been to therapy a couple of times in my life and if I’d known there was a ‘physical component’ further down the line, I definitely would’ve not kept going because my therapist was not attractive at all. If Dillion was my therapist, hell yeah. Have you seen those tits?

Dillion rationalizes her claim by exclaiming “I mean, look at these linen pants! A Note On Pornstar Castings

Pornstars get cast into a scene in two ways. The first way is that the studio has an idea of what they want the scene to be like and cast an appropriate pornstar accordingly. The second way is that the studio says “We really want to work with…” whoever and then builds a scene around the pornstar in an appropriate scenario. I suspect the case of Dillion Harper as the therapist came from the former case because I don’t see someone wanting to work with Dillion Harper and saying “You know what we should do? Have Dillion as a therapist.”

Dillion Harper is one of the sweetest people in porn. She has a face like the cute girl you were too scared to ask out at high school. I think she was miscast and as a result, the scene felt a little off at times. Instead of feeling like this was something she, as the therapist, did with all her clients, it felt like she was forcing herself to break the patient-doctor confidentiality for the first time. You can’t just cast anyone into any role.

I’m not saying that this is something BaDoinkVR gets wrong all the time. They’ve had plenty of pornstars playing roles that were so much better suited to them. Two that come to mind are a scene with Melissa Moore where she played a waitress (Today’s Special) and a scene with Riley Reid where she plays a promiscuous girlfriend who tries on clothes for a guy who isn’t her boyfriend (Just Friends). Both of these scenes are excellent examples of when porn castings are done right. But Dillion Harper as the therapist? I think it’s a no from me.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I think this scene is okay. It’s not bad by any stretch of the word, but it also doesn’t tick all the boxes for me. It does some things right like the cowgirl and reverse cowgirl positions. Some of the dialogue was alright, although a lot of it was recycled porn phrases.

I also enjoyed the running theme of a pearl necklace that had seemingly been chucked into the scene like a mismatched puzzle piece. But I didn’t enjoy the over-the-top amounts of foreplay. It was halfway through the scene before my penis even penetrated Dillion’s vagina (14:48). Also, in my opinion, Dillion should not have been cast in a therapist role.
