Just a quick update of the a few developments in the virtual reality “world” and metaverse.
FOVE – FOVE 0 Eye-Tracking VR headset:
First off, FOVE, announced pre-order availability for the FOVE 0, their new eye-tracking VR headset, which was a popular Kickstarter over a year ago, and is the first commercially available product from FOVE
FOVE pre-orders will start at $549 from November 1-9, at which point the price will be $599.

FOVE’s work in the VR industry is admirable and I am excited to see if their eye tracking hardware get picked up by any major VR hardware producers, however the current FOVE specs fall slightly short of the Rift and Vive.
The FOVE 0 will ship to backers on December 2016 and January 2017 for this round of pre-orders.
VR AnimeTed – Quick Update

VR AnimeTed, known for creating sexy and easy to use adult VR experiences, announced that he plans to release a big update on Friday November, 4, 2016 for his Patreon patrons, and to the public on the following Monday. I highly recommend checking out his Patreon, especially if you are looking for a custom adult VR experiences.
VR AnimeTed is no stranger to vrporn.com and according to his update the characters will be branching out into 4 main categories: Anime, HQ, Interactive and Fetish. He also assured patrons that he is still planing for a constant flow of solo releases and will be conducting a poll to see which of the larger projects is most popular so they can be given priority

Oculus Rift Third Sensor Available for Pre-order

Last, but not least Oculus has is not accepting pre-orders for single Rift Sensors. The stand alone sensor will cost $79 and will be ship during the same shipping window as the Oculus Touch, which does come with a second Oculus sensor. The need to purchase a third sensor to create room-scale VR experiences on the Rift is still being questioned by internet forums. However, most reports thus far have said having the third Oculus sensor creates an immersive experience on par with the HTC Vive and possibly better.
