Just recently, HTC has opened up the Vive hardware platform to the masses by offering $99 dollar HTC Vive Tracker units that can be integrated with the sensors that come with the HTC Vive for custom tracking applications. As mentioned in earlier articles this year, developers are using this tracker to track real-world objects in virtual space. By offering an open platform and a highly customizable tracking experience, HTC has opened the doors for some unique types of adult experiences that rely on tracking real objects, in the case mentioned here, sex toys.
Among the first to experiment with adult applications of the HTC Tracker is my good friend and solo developer Roger Kuttenwayger. Although his application is in the early unfinished form of a concept demo prototype, it shows great potential for similar applications. Many developers like Roger are experimenting with the low priced and sold out HTC tracker by attaching it to objects that players want to simulate in a virtual environment.
What is it good for?
In January, HTC showed off a bunch of demos that demonstrated the potential uses of the affordable HTC Vive Tracker that was designed to extend the scope of the HTC Vive. Their early demos showed users holding objects like baseball bats (see below) and guns with HTC Vive Tracker units attached. By attaching a tracker to the bottom of a bat, a VR baseball demo application could represent a virtual bat in the headset which moved simultaneously in tandem with the actual bat that a user holds.
By providing a tracker that allows users to hold an actual bat that is mirrored in VR, users can hold an object that has the weight, feel, and girth of a real bat. This provides a sensation of realism for the virtual bat. Similar demos used guns that were attached to the HTC Vive Tracker.
Tracking Sex Toys
Rather than attaching bats or guns to trackers, Roger’s demos connect HTC trackers to sex toys to simulate a realistic simulation of either male or female genitals. In other words, virtual vaginas and penises are physically simulated in a similar manner to the bats or guns. To do this, Roger connects the HTC Trackers to dildos to simulate the physical form of a penis. For a vagina, Roger connects the HTC Tracker to a Fleshlight. For those that don’t know, a Fleshlight is more or less pussy in a can.
This approach provides a potential means for virtual reality porn producers to add a physical sensory experience to VR porn videos and 3d adult simulations.
The lack of physical sensations in virtual reality porn is currently one of the biggest issues with the medium as it is. Roger’s approach could be a significant first step towards adding sensation.
META VR PORN
The HTC tracked dildos or Fleshlights could easily be built into room-scale virtual reality porn experiences. Developers could use either the dildo or the Fleshlight as the core element of a virtual character. In other words, the virtual character that users interact within a given simulation would be anchored by the dildo or the Fleshlight.
For example, moving the HTC Tracked dildo, would, in turn, move the virtual dick which then resultingly move the orientation of the virtual dude. Some extra meta-porn opportunities would be possible with such a setup. Recordings of girls fucking virtual dudes could easily be made with just a girl and an HTC Vive Tracked Dildo. This could open up a whole new genre of meta virtual reality porn.

Would really love to see how the actual application of dildo tacker manifests if someone tries this experiment

I just noticed that the writer loves dildos with vive tracker 😀

so like pussies on videos will have motion sensors to record movement and sensations so the tracker will have data to work on, yeah?

I dont really get it that how thins thing will work with the sex toys exactly
