What is Gooning?
Believe it or not, there are times that I am not in virtual reality. There are times that I am aimlessly searching through my apps, social media and the internet. Recently I have been seeing this word “gooning” popping up more and more and related to porn somehow. I was wondering what is this word about. Is this a new hip buzz word for jerking off or what? I kept seeing accounts with this name and posts with this word… but when I tried looking it up on different slang term dictionary sites they seemed to give no clue how this word became porn related. Then finally I came across my answer.
It is basically a new word for edging but with a bit more substance. I am not sure how familiar my readers might be with the term “edging.” Edging means exactly what it sounds like. Edging means to jerk off or have sex to the point of almost cumming, and then trying to stay there on that edge of almost having an orgasm; to balance on that edge for as long as possible. Gooning starts with edging but the definition gets more specific. Gooning is when you edge for a long period of time until you are basically hypnotized by the sensations and it sends you into an altered state of mind.

In this altered state of mind they call “gooning” they say that your mind loses any self of yourself and you sort of become one with your penis. You become one with the sensation of almost cumming, losing any inhibition or sense of manners or embarrassment. You even lose any sense of your control over your physical body or mannerisms such as your facial expressions for example. As these new developments are happening in the world of science and what the human brain is capable of, there is also a censorship war happening in cyber space against certain types of porn (and virtual reality porn is no exception). This is really a war on humans just having certain thoughts.

Gooning on the Rift
With all the new freedoms of the mind and freedoms of imagination that virtual reality brings into our lives and our minds, I am excited to see where this freedom can take us especially in an altered state of mind. There is all kinds of research out there on how virtual reality may affect our subconscious and psyche. I don’t know how gooning affects our brains psychologically but I think it is exciting that people are reaching altered states. It makes me think of tantric sex and the rumors about the Jewish kabbalah practice of edging in some sex magic kind of way.

What does edging for hours really do? What kind of things can the human brain accomplish or discover combining this new virtual reality technology with the altered states achieved through gooning or kabbalah? Maybe there will be a serious earth changing, human life changing breakthrough on all spiritual and moral fronts for a breakthrough perspective gained through this freedom that human brains have only now unlocked through this new technology and mind altering masturbation habits.
Perhaps we will soon find ourselves in a brave new world indeed, complete with sexual thought crimes and sexual thought-liberating rebels. We could see such scenes played out in real life as the stripper turns into a super hero, or a hooker turns into a freedom fighter. I am excited to see what the future holds with Trump in the White House and VR porn technology in my house.
