Oculus just
announced that preorders begin in 48 hours for the Rift. At 8am Pacific Time precisely.
And they confirmed a Q1 2016 release date. It's happening! 2016 will truly be the
year of VR. Year 1. Like the 1990's for the internet.

famous Kickstarter in 2012, or for VR nerds, back in his many posts on the MTBS3d.com forums before that. The release date always seemed to be just around the corner. But now, the dream is finally materializing.
All Oculus Rifts will come standard with the VR platformer Lucky's Tale. It is the Mario of the Oculus Rift. And preorders get something extra special, a free copy of Eve Valkyrie. Eve Valkyrie is shaping up to be an amazing AAA VR Game.

It might be smart to preorder the Oculus Rift if you are looking to buy one. The Rift may be like hot new Apple products that sell out early and have long wait times as production ramps up to keep up with demand. Oculus is shaping up to be the next Apple.
