In this article I would like to describe you the long run to the awesome virtual technologies and opportunities that we now have. A lot of people don’t realize how lucky we are. We have the virtual reality available for almost everyone with access to the internet! It took a long period of time before we get to this point, where it’s possible to spend some private time with one of the greatest pornstars on the scene. Literally, all you need is just to get a carton box with eyeglasses and then you can live through your sexual fantasies with almost every star you want.
However, before all of the mentioned above was finally launched on the internet, as always, there had to be beginning. Stereoscope is basically pair of glasses placed in wooden box which were used for viewing three-dimensional images thanks to the idea of printing two separate images side-by-side. Sound familiar to you? It’s exactly same principle as today’s VR headsets. Guess what! Shortly thereafter, some guys had a great thought of making erotic pictures suitable for stereoscopes. The first attempts to publish and sell these images were rejected by major population. Fortunately, this idea came back to life in early 90s.

From it’s beginning, porn industry has been growing into the one of the most powerful entertainment industries, according to statistics and professional opinions. Do you know why we used only VHS cassettes? Despite the heavy amount of criticism and technical issues, VHS built it’s own way to rise. Only VHS allows people to watch porn everywhere they could find video player. Other companies didn’t permit folks to watch sexually explicit content, so they had to cease their job.

It is believed, that digital camera as we know was originally dedicated for porn shootings. I’m not talking about camera as a whole, but about it’s improvements like better picture quality, editorial control, easily adjustable settings, lower film costs and so on. Nevertheless, that’s nothing in comparison with the internet powered by porn more than you thought. There are over 26 million porn sites on the internet. They are making more than 3 000 dollars every second. Also more than a third of all downloads are porn. That’s quite a lot I think. Internet would never be so popular without the porn. Well, it is true, that porn industry didn’t created the internet, but almost every piece of internet technology may be tracked to adult sites.
The most important thing for us is the intention to make the porn as real as possible, which is provided by virtual porn.

If you think about it, pornography in general is getting more and more realistic. I believe, that with the modern technologies, it will soon catch up the real sex feeling. As it is said, everything is just a matter of time! You can already buy one of the electronic sex toys compatible with the VR porn scenes. I know some people claiming the virtual porn is much better then real sex. That’s something ! Maybe you have seen one of those videos where a japanese guy is testing the virtual reality porn wearing electronic suit which excites almost every part of his body. He has the VR porn headset put on his head and to make things more interesting, he’s sexually pleased by robot. Even Conan O’Brien said, that the whole virtual reality world comes to virtual porn. In one of his segments, he was talking about how amazing it would be to just crawl in a box containing a lot of arms feeling you up and some syringes filled with oil. I bet he’s not far from the truth.
Future of VR porn
Skeptics all around the globe allege that the VR porn industry is going to replace real sex one day. On the other hand I believe, that VR porn should help people in various ways. Until the release of Virtual sexology with August Ames I didn’t have any idea about this startling way of learning people how to have sex. Maybe the realm of virtual porno will be used as you personal sex-teacher. I think, that would be awesome, if the VR porn got more interactive.

Just imagine yourself lying in a couch and relaxing. Suddenly, you’ve got a lust to have sex with one of the hottest girls (or men). You put your headset with new functions on your head and choose your favorite pornstar, the background and the whole story. You will lead the action!
It’s a long run ahead to the future world, but one day, we will get to that point. For now, I would appreciate if some of the VRP companies create something like a wishlist for users of the website. Ideally, they could vote for the topic of next scene by choosing the pornstar, surroundings and story. This can be beneficial for all. Producers will find out what users wish to see and users will be happy about the scene they’ve just proposed. But that’s just my point of view.
