ZnelArts and RoomScale VR Porn in LaDouche – The Shower

Okay, so one of the developers who’s shared quite a bit of video on his work here at VRPorn.com has recently released an updated beta version of his LaDouche software. Is it a game? A simulator? What? To be honest? I’m not really sure. The name of the experience is French for “The Shower”.

And what better way to have a VR shower than with one of three attractive women. But, it’s just a beta, so there’s really not much to do except observe right? Wrong. In this update you can interact with the girls, playing with their tits and asses. You’re basically an invisible dude that can peep in on women taking a shower and dancing. Which is exactly what I’d spend my time doing if I died and got stuck on earth as an invisible and incorporeal being.. Hell yeah!

Installation

Seriously, like the 2nd easiest thing ever. Simply download the zip file and extract everything into a folder. It really is that simple. Running the experience is equally simple. Double click the .exe file. The experience will automatically launch SteamVR if you don’t already have it running. Just remember to turn on the controllers.

And in to the Experience…

So the experience starts you off in a bathroom. The whole room is pretty impressively detailed and the textures look nice. ZnelArts really went out of his way to ensure that the environment you’re in looks good. Even taking a close up look at the floor shows some pretty nice detail. One thing that kind of annoyed me is the fact that it doesn’t have a native 1920×1080 mode, but whatever. With the headset on, it looks good and it runs good.. For a Beta product, that’s saying something.

So, first things first, I decided to try and drown myself in the toilet…

No, seriously, here goes…

I was actually kind of impressed that there was any detail at all inside the bowel and that it was actually dark. I was somewhat disappointed at the lack of a gurgling bubbling sound effect or the presence of a giant log though.. What ever happened to easter-eggs?  Anyways, after a good laugh, I decided to take a look around. The mirror caught my attention next…

An Impressive Body with Fairly Natural Movement.

Like I said, invisible man.. Now, the character body is quite impressive, not that you’re an invisible dude, but the fact that the body actually tries to act like yours would if you were moving around. Duck down, and the invisible dude crouches, move your hands close to you and the elbows bend in a realistic manner.

Grab your crotch and point to the sky? Get photobombed by a foot.. I swear that was not intentional… But, it does show that the dev put in the time to actually make reflective and shiny surfaces.. Well, reflective! The fact that the character body acts fairly closely to what yours would do in real life as you move is pretty impressive for a whole dev team, let alone one guy, and yes, it is one guy doing all the work.. Even the hands look pretty impressive and the fingers move a little when you “grab” with the trigger or grip controls.

A Realistic Female

Seriously, the girls in the game are pretty detailed. There’s definitely some texture stretching during movement, especially around the anal and inner crotch-thigh areas, but barring any extreme stretches or bends, they do look pretty good. The tits and ass do have a really nice jiggle to them as the girls dance around and do their things. Like the dancing in that video. It’s actually kind of nice to be able to sit back, relax, and just chill out while they go about their business. As of right now, the black chick doesn’t have any animations and just stands there, but hey, it’s a beta version.

I’m sure there will be more features in the next release.

A Couple Fun Bugs

So yeah, the fact that it’s beta means there’s still some entertaining bugs. Such as being able to go “out of bounds” or having super stretchy titties.. I mean seriously, I could stretch this thing out for a mile and let it snap back all day long. You’d think at some point it would snap or break, but no, it’s like indestructible taffy and you can stretch them out for like a mile.

. Ever hear the ICP song “Dating Game”? This next line reminds me of it. “I’d grab your titties and stretch ’em down past your waist Let ’em go and watch ’em both spring up in your face” – ICP. Yeah, you can actually do that here, and it’s hilarious.

Controlling the experience is really easy.

For vive users, the menu button on your left hand wand opens up this nice little menu.

It shows you all the controls, movement, grabbing, how to cycle through different modes for the girls, pause the game, and get in to the menu that allows you to modify the girls and make em look a bit different… Yes, that is an asian chick by the way, and she does look pretty cute..

So, pop open the modification window, use your right hand to grab a slider bubble, and… Ooh yeah.. Bingo wings!

Now we’re talking… Wait.. She’s thick, but there’s no wings and still looks like a bit of a toned stomach? What sorcery is this? I don’t really know, but it’s not wholly unattractive… Anyways, as far as interaction with the girls goes, currently the only thing you can do with them is play with their tits and ass. Make em jiggle, bounce and stretch. Well, you can’t stretch the ass out, but you CAN reach up an ass and pull a titty back through it…

Don’t move, this’ll only take a….

HRRRRNG!!!! 

Now, for those of you wondering, yeah, I could have stretched that thing out a lot farther… A LOT farther… If I hadn’t been laughing my ass off and dropped the controller… For those of you wondering WHY I tried this? Clearly I’ve got issues.. But don’t tell me you didn’t laugh when you saw it. And don’t tell me you’re probably not going to try it..

Things done right.

Znel has really done a number of things in a top notch fashion. This experience is one of the easiest and most trouble free ones to install ever. Click, download, open zip, copy to folder, run. No annoying setup or anything, the thing just works. If you’ve read my guide on setting up CM3D2 and it made your head spin, this is most DEFINITELY a refreshing, very refreshing change. 10/10 on the install. The only thing easier is a self-extracting archive that creates it’s own folder. But seriously, don’t change anything. It’s nice to be able to hide things in a folder named AutocadProject or something boring…

The breast and butt physics are really nice. They wobble and jiggle like real tits and ass.

The motion and dance animations are really good, there’s very little “bone popping” as the arms and legs move around like in some of the other VR animations that are out there. Sure, there’s a couple spots to tweak, but overall, this was done very, very well.  There’s also minimal “ass-cave in” on the hips as the girls bend and twist.

Ease of use.. Let’s face it, this experience is just REALLY easy to use. I have to give ZnelArts props for keeping things simple.

So, the things I look forward to.

Being that this is still in development, there’s still plenty of time to add in features. Among them, I personally would like to see the following in a “finished product”…

• 1920×1080 as a resolution.
• Some higher res skin textures.
• A higher poly count in some areas of the body. If you look close at the asian chick taken from outside the room, you can see some white lines where the texture meshes have separated, and I’m sure it’s the same for all girls. If the crotch areas were subdivided in to more zones for the textures, it would seem to me that textures could be mounted directly to those areas, thus reducing the “stretch” of any one individual texture and making things look a little more natural during extreme stretches. (It’s easy to be a couch critic like me when the most complex thing you can program is a .bat file.)
• Boundary limits. I get the feeling I should NOT be able to walk out to the back yard. Or through the walls.. Shower door? Okay. Wall to the back yard? Not so much.
• Background noise. If you’re standing right next to or in the shower, you should be able to hear it.

If “I” had a wish list…

• More interaction with the girls. Slap an ass and watch em jump and look around. Don’t forget the sound.
• More interaction with the girls. Use the “grip control instead of the trigger, and the hand extends a finger. Shove finger into orifice, watch it spread open farther as the finger, fist, forearm, other arm, head, and oh, just climb back in why don’t I? If I go in through the mouth, at least I won’t have to hear the humming. A volume adjustment could fix that too.
• A sluttier dance animation or two with less arm waving and a more titty bar feel. I.E. More ass shots and leg spreading / lying on back with hip thrusts towards the camera..  Take $30, go to a titty bar, and enjoy. Get some ideas. 😀

But seriously, being able to slap an ass and play with the cheeks, squeeze or spread em a bit or something… Maybe flush the toilet for fun, if not just a way to drown out the humming like a volume slider.

That being said…

There’s supposed to be another update sometime in February from what I understand, and every version so far keeps getting better and adding a couple new features, so I can’t wait to see where it goes from here. ZnelArts is clearly still developing his experience and I’m reviewing a beta. It will be nice to see what his plans are for the future.. The updates and improvements just keep coming.

The question of the day, Is it worth it?

Seriously? You have to ask? Older beta versions are free. If you saw any of the videos and liked them, seriously, become a patreon and get the actual experience, it’s WELL worth it, and for less than the price of a taco? Patreon donations start off at $1 Of COURSE it’s worth it to have access to the latest and greatest releases. ZnelArts gets his funding via Patreon. I highly recommend that you guys click here and help fund him. Look at it from this point.

Most people spend about $20/mo to access a porn site, If you go on Steam, it’s hard to find a decent 5 minute VR experience for $10. This is $1, or whatever you decide to commit to, It gets you a good 30 minutes, multiple girls, and it’s definitely watchable more than once, and you’re helping to ensure the future of Roomscale VRPorn. Not those 180/360 videos that anchor you in place, but a true roomscale experience. We don’t have a lot of those out there yet, and as vive and oculus owners, it’s going to be our fault if we don’t support this stuff and it dies out, so lets encourage some development!

That being said, he is also developing another program called VillianSimulator, which I am going to be reviewing as well that he includes at the $3 donation level. It’s still pretty early alpha though, so I hope to find some more hilarious bugs. 😀
