It is the $25,000 grand prize winner of the Render the Metaverse contest sponsored by Otoy and Oculus.

This is one of my favorites. You step out of your normal existence and find yourself in a fantastic world with flying whales and towns on impossible cliff-tops.

The 3 month long contest is over, so don’t expect to see too many new VR scenes soon. But you can still browse all entries here. And I expect that content like this will eventually be available in essentially unlimited quantities, such as with videos on the internet today.
