All Mode
I recently played a demo of The Pink Motel – a VR porn game being developed by the studio HardcorePink, (Patreon page here) — and the experience was wonderful. It was the most fun I’ve had playing a video game demo in any genre, let alone the adult category. While the game is far from finished, Hotel Pink already has much more depth and replay value than many other adult VR games currently on the market.
The Backstory

The game begins along a dark country road where your character finds himself tired and alone. Utterly exhausted, he’s forced to pull over at the nearest rest stop which just so happens to be the Pink Motel. A little investigating quickly reveals that this is no ordinary lodging and that somehow, you’ve stumbled upon a hidden brothel where every room holds a different adventure.
Sandbox Fashion

As soon as you park the car, the game transforms into an open world experience where you are free to roam around in classic sandbox fashion. This is something still relatively uncommon in the adult VR genre, but it’s absolutely essential for proper gaming immersion. Many other VR porn games that are out right now only offer a set of fixed locations to enjoy the scenery from, so the freedom of movement alone immediately sets The Pink Motel apart.
Porn MMORPG

Not only is the world large and detailed, but exploration is actually rewarded. Just like a real MMORPG or first person adventure game, Hotel Pink offers genuine bonuses for investigating your environment. I was already expecting a world full of visual details that merit a closer look, but what I wasn’t expecting was a host of advanced features all waiting to be unlocked through deep exploration and problem-solving.
Bonus Content

New sex positions, characters, and environments are just a few of the cool perks you get in return for your in-game efforts. The bonus content obviously gives some added depth to the experience but more importantly, it makes Hotel Pink one of the few VR porn demos that I’d actually be willing to call a real game.
I Died

These bonuses equate to a set of powerful incentives that encourage the user to become a part of the fictional world. There are even punishments for making the wrong decisions. I’ve never been so happy to die in a video game as I was in hotel pink. Not because I’m a masochist, but because this death made me feel like I was playing an actual game rather than just watching an elaborate CGI movie.

There are so many creative flourishes and hidden gems in the game that it’s probably best if I leave it up to you to discover them for yourself. Suffice to say this is one demo you absolutely must try if you’re interested in the direction of VR porn gaming. Whereas many virtual reality porn games feel like they were developed by someone who is a sex addict first and video game addict second, this demo feels the complete reverse. The Pink Motel is one of the first adult experiences to rightfully earn the title of “VR porn video game.”
I also have a vive and am a patron, I downloaded the most recent version. For whatever reason, VR mode doesn’t work at all- it’s monitor only. I don’t want to ruin my first VR experience of the game, so am holding until the developer responds to my request to fix it.
I’ve downloaded the 0.0.12 demo, but it doesn’t activate in vr mode? What’s the issue? I have an HTC Vive
