As a doctor of philosophy, I have noted an interesting potential in virtual spaces. They allow people to embody and reconfigure themselves and their identities in a way that no other technology can match. With this in mind, it is my theory that virtual reality porn holds an amazing potential for understanding what it means to be sexual human beings. Because it offers such immersive experiences that are often transformative, It is my theory that virtual reality and virtual reality porn can break down the metaphoric and categorical walls that make up our gender identity. If these walls came down, potentially more nuanced explorations of virtual sexuality could lead to new forms of self-awareness and sexuality.
Studies like that shown in the above video already show that virtual reality can make us feel embodied and disembodied in radical ways. This study demonstrates that one can live inside or as the opposite sex for the briefest instant. Using virtual reality, test subjects felt embodied in the opposite sex’s skin. I think such virtual reality gender-swapping studies only scratch the surface of what is possible. Thus, to dig deeper, I will endeavor to explore the limits and reaches of human sexuality using virtual reality porn and chemical compounds to create and modulate sexual stimulation and a gendered worldview. These experiments will not occur under the general purview of scientific or academic communities for obvious reasons. Instead, these experiments will be non-scientific, subjective, and purely volunteer based. For obvious reasons, They will mainly be occurring between my girlfriend and me.
Approach
I will be using a variety of scientific and philosophical approaches for my experiments. My descriptions and characterizations will rely on the philosophical method of inquiry called phenomenology. As a Philosophy of experience, phenomenology focuses experiments and observations on understanding the living and subjective experiences that occur during human-events. In my case, I will be recording my girlfriend’s and my experiences as phenomenological characterizations.
Methods and Tools
I will use a variety of methods and tools in these experiments. Let me warn you, some of these tools will be unconventional. The first of these tools, of course, will be a virtual reality headset. For this series of experiments, I have chosen the HTC Vive headset for room-scale experiments but also the Samsung Galaxy GearVR Headset for experiments that require fewer cables and more mobility.

The GearVR will be attached to a Samsung Galaxy S7 to provide visuals to the users. The HTC Vive will be attached to a high powered multimedia gaming PC with a NVidia 1080 graphics card.

My experiments also require the use of various pornographic videos. Therefore, we will be using a variety of videos for various purposes. For experiments involving reversed gender identity, we will use female POV vids for males, and male POV videos for females. We will also be using 3d room scale pornographic virtual reality experiments when our experiments require users to move about spatially.

Finally, my experiments will use a variety of mind-altering chemicals that are legally available to purchase. These chemicals will allow me to modulate the conscious experience of my test subjects. When used alongside virtual reality, these chemicals will provide heightened sensorial, altered states of consciousness, disembodied, and out of body experiences. This will allow my test subjects to reconsider their embodied perceptions while I observe their mental states in a non-normalized and highly suggestive manner.
