Even though I have an Oculus Rift and an HTC Vive, I resort to my mobile VR headset (a Gear VR) because it is handy, easy to get running, or because my PC is turned off. In contrast to my PC which is strapped down to a wire-nest of power plugs and adapters, my Gear VR system only requires my Samsung Galaxy S7 which comes with me everywhere. Although the Vive offers the best visual experience for games and virtual reality porn, the limits of its mobility make it the lesser option for comfortable use. When considering the cost and benefits of mobile and non-mobile devices, comfort becomes a key issue. In situations where comfort is key, the obvious choice will be a mobile device and right now that device is a GearVR paired with a compatible Samsung handset.
The GearVR allows you to lay around anywhere without getting tangled in wires. Obviously, this is what when viewing content from our site. There is nothing worse than getting your snake entangled with a 12-volt power cable. So, with all of this in mind, I describe the GearVR as the best mobile option while presenting the Google Day Dream, as the best runner-up.
Gear VR
Cost: ($50-99 for headset and starting at 250ish for Galaxy S6 which is one of the most affordable options).
Software: The Gear VR software experience is well thought out. In my opinion, it has the best and most well-developed mobile VR software platform. This may be because Oculus itself oversees the content store. There is a wide variety of good software available including games, web-viewers, and video players which are key for viewing downloaded adult VR content.
Hardware: The Gear VR is leaps and bounds beyond the competition regarding hardware. The headset presents sharp and smooth 3d visuals with excellent head tracking. The high density displays on the S6s and S7s help here. Additionally, It is comfortable to wear. In regards to extras, it has a touch panel and fits a variety of Samsung devices (S6, S7, S6 Edge, S7 Edge, S5 Note, and S7 Note). There are multiple versions of the Gear VR, all of which look slick and all of which offer a great experience. That said, you need to match the specific headset version to your specific Samsung device to ensure compatibility.
Runner-up: Day Dream
Cost: $70 with $599 Google Pixel phone or a more affordable used Moto Z at around $350
Software: Just getting its start, Google’s Daydream software seems like it could be a winner. That said, it has only been since last week that developers were given the go ahead to release software for the Daydream in the Google Play Store. With this in mind, the software shows great promise while being limited.
Hardware: Falling somewhat behind the Gear VR’s visual quality, the Google Daydream offers very nice visuals and speedy head tracking. The included Wii-like remote that comes with Daydreams is a nice addition, but it remains up to developers to utilize this device. A unique aspect of this headset is its soft fabric body. This makes it easy to set up and get started (the phone just zips in place) while also making it more comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
Conclusion: With either of these headsets you can’t go wrong. With the GearVR you will get a more mature and developed software experience and sharper visuals. That said, the Daydream may be more comfortable for wearing over long periods of time. All in all, both headsets will provide great VR experiences that work with our website’s adult content.

The GearVR is still king of mobile, but Google Daydream looks very exciting. Google is taking it seriously and it will likely be much bigger than GearVR since it will be a part of all Android phones in the future. Whereas GearVR is only for Samsung phones.
