Overall, the year of 2016 has so far turned out to be great for the VR tech industry, as various tech giants and even new startups have been coming with their innovative new solutions. The industry giants are gearing up to bring affordable virtual reality devices to more people. Additionally, consumer interest also has been on a huge rise and we expect the trend to continue in 2017.
For the moment, let us take a quick round up about what all has been happening in the VR Tech industry this holiday season.
A new app from Jaunt lands on PlayStation VR
Start-up company and creator of Cinematic VR – Jaunt – has just arrived with a new app for Playstation VR which currently supplies a number of videos like Zombi Purge, Shaq goes to Cuba, Pure McCartney Experience and others.
PSVR users are said to receive immediate access to 150 parts of the content along with multiple cinematic titles within the app itself. The cinematic titles are available across several genres like music, travel, sports, film, horror and so on. All these pieces within the app are currently available to be downloaded straight to PS4 consoles.
This shows Sony’s serious efforts of adding better content for PSVR users along with its recent efforts of supporting 360 degree videos in YouTube.
