There are now some 200 of these VR scenes available to try on the Gear VR with the Oculus 360 Photos app. Most Gear VR users agree it’s some of the best content available.

Virtual reality takes education to the next level. In the case of learning about human anatomy, VR allows you to really visualize and experience the data in a way that is more … messy … otherwise. Almost anybody who tries VR soon sees just how revolutionary it will be for education in the future.
Imagine browsing an online encyclopedia like Wikipedia and finding something like this VR scene as the entry.

A neat thing about these Otoy VR renders is that they are early visions of UI in VR. UI in VR is an entirely new field. Just as it took the PC industry years to get to the point of mouse-driven graphical interfaces, it will take time for the VR industry to figure out what works best.
