The Mission
The Void is in the process of creating the first 360-degree virtual reality theme park where
people can have a realistic virtual experience. They will have to strap a virtual reality headset and wander into the specially created arena similar to being inside the game. According to the information released by The Void’s website, the arenas are specially designed with 4D environmental elements.
You will get a realistic feeling
For instance, if you are strolling inside a cave filled with spider webs, the arena will include
strings dangling from the roof and will give you a cobweb feeling when you touch them.
Likewise, in a scene featuring space, if you open a case enclosed with an alien life you will be showered with a jet of compressed air. You can also feel mist around you if it is raining in your game.
Weapons
You will have to carry a plastic staff that will act as a sword while fighting with
monsters and as a wand while dueling with wizards (run away if it is Lord Voldemort) in the game.
Headset and Vest
The headset and vest given will provide realistic sensations like vibrations and shakes
while handling a gun. In the game, you can feel some sensations of vibrations, heat, cold, moisture, liquids, smells etc.
Science Fact, Not Science Fiction
The preview video makes this park look more like fiction than fact. But it actually seems to be representative of the experience.

“Only limited by imagination, our advanced Virtual-Reality technologies allow you to see, move, and feel our digital worlds in a completely immersive and realistic way.”
The first center will be opening in 2016 at Salt Lake city, Utah. The Void is also planning to open centers in Australia, Asia, Europe, North and South America.
Watching a video or playing a game with Oculus Rift looks great but walking in the environment is just awesome. Even though the thing The Void is trying looks incredibly promising, it is also incredibly tough. So let’s keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best and also pray that the monsters inside the game don’t run berserk and kill all the players.
