VR for a Noob Using a Smartphone

Get a Phone VR Headset!

Many people, like myself, are still very new to the virtual reality world. I have yet to fully experience VR on a machine like Vive, Oculus, or PlayStation. However, despite having a relatively older phone (iPhone 6), a simple purchase of a cardboard adapter thrust me into this newly forming virtual world.

After tinkering around with the device, demoing out the apps they suggest and whatnot, I jumped into what I was really curious about, virtual reality porn. The traditional sites I visited regularly in the past were cumbersome to work with, so I was beyond pleased to find a site dedicated to providing and creating the best vr porn experience, vrporn.com.

Navigation

Navigation is definitely a bit tricky with the phone. The five minute videos are great and usually do the trick but not every time. You are able to quickly re-watch the same video, which works in a pinch. However, you have to remove the headset from your head, the phone from the headset, then exit out of VR viewer mode to pick out a new flick. That is a bit of a nuisance that will likely be developed away one day. Perhaps a couple of options could be presented after a flick.

Virtual Sexology

Personally, POV has always been my favorite category, so naturally, VR is right in my wheelhouse. I have been a fan of jerk-off instructions, but I do not regularly seek out JOI videos. While the video I am about to feature, which is my favorite VR film so far after a few months, is not a JOI video per se but rather virtual sexology.

I wanted to bring attention to the video again since it has been nearly a year from that blog post. August Ames is a joy in this video and plays her part remarkably well. Valerie Baber, sexuality writer & intimacy coach, narrates and guides you through the different stages of this video, which took me several times to make it through it all.

I recommend you go ahead and bookmark or download this video. There is a blog post by hardvr covering the dynamics of virtual sexology that you should check out. This video is worth revisiting over and over again. The breathing and kegel exercises are worth the effort and repeat viewings. If you’re a little curious, the developers, BaDoinkVR, have released a virtual sexology for her.  As a male, it was an interesting perspective to take in.

Upgrade

I am currently shopping around for VR machines, but a VR smartphone experience is not to be overlooked. I will be returning to August Ames soon for another sexology session on mine. Content like this is prompting me to move forward on a purchase of a more advanced virtual reality system, and it will also prompt me to a premium membership if I can expect more new content like it.
