Back in December 2016, I was starting out as a VR porn reviewer and had no idea where to begin with my writing. At the time, I was just putting together short stories and philosophical commentaries about the technology’s capabilities (how it can eradicate rape, remind elders of their good times, and even help the disabled live happily and hedonistically), but had yet to find a niche or purpose to make a name for myself.
I was looking for something out of the ordinary, exquisite, and exciting enough to turn heads and stir everyone’s curiosity. Something that has more potential than the regular solo masturbation scene, and drops more jaws than a one-on-one hardcore production. That’s how I decided that I should look into VR threesomes and dedicate a big chunk of my time, attention, and writing to the 3-partner sub-genre which usually involves two horny ladies.

The series proved to be pretty successful, as plenty of stars and studio representatives have responded positively to the content that was written: the comment sections have featured messages from people involved in the production, and the content has been retweeted by many important people from the business. In a way, it was unlike the technical reviews that focus mostly on the beauty and the image quality, and the length seemed peculiar for something as basic and visceral as porn.
I’m not sure to which extent my intentions have been understood, but I’ve attempted to dive into a more narrative way of reviewing VR porn. Though lots of horny consumers of the VR porn genre must have scrolled furiously through the lines looking for a brief description of the essentials or wishing they’d skip to the grade, I like to think that the way the articles are written compliments all the work and talent that is put into the production of our beloved immersive adult entertainment. If pornstars and directors work long hours to deliver something we consume within minutes, then why not give them something equally great in return?
One of the promises that I’ve made to myself when I started writing for VRPorn was that I would never do listicles (articles that include lists, top 10s, and classifications of any kind).
