What is VRGirlz?
Their work involves highly detailed computer scans of beautiful women that are turned in to models that can be experienced in VR. Their work stands out from the current crop of VR Porn producers because it is virtual reality. It’s not just another 360 POV video.
The creators — ‘Veiviev’ — have been part of the VR community for 3 years. They were some of the original participants on the Oculus developer forums in 2013.
They were early to release demos and they gained quite a following. In addition to their cutting-edge technology, they were also about the only game in town when it came to VR Porn in the early days.
They since went on to launch their site VRGirlz(NSFW) which took their creations to a whole new level with much more polish. This is also when they began to monetize their creations.
But there is still more work to be done. And the virtual reality community has been wondering why they have been so quiet lately.
VRGirlz Updates
“We’re still here, primed and ready for the year of VR, 2016.”
VRGirlz has finally updated(NSFW) us after a long time.
The primary message they are getting across is that they have been working hard and they will be ready in time for the coming consumer virtual reality revolution. But they also tell us more about some of their growing pains and difficulties.
In a quite devastating blow, all of their paid experiences were bootlegged and leaked on the internet for free. So now they will be introducing a new security login to help prevent this problem in the future.
They also talk about some of the software problems related to the Oculus SDK update and the Unity update. They are in the process of moving everything over to Unreal Engine. This is a difficult task and it’s understandable that things will be slow until they get this under control. However, they vow that everything will be working properly by the time the consumer Oculus is released.
“We have big plans for the consumer launch and will be ready.”
