All Mode
A playable version of VRLove was finally released this month and the demo looks promising. The highly anticipated adult video game was developed by a team of VR experts led by Carlos Dagnino who claims to have fallen in love with VR after watching the movie “The Lawnmower Man.”
“I fell in love with virtual reality at the moment I saw The Lawn Mower Man so many years ago but it wasn’t until long after when I got married and got with Leah my partner that I decided to use our honeymoon money to buy an Oculus DK1 and a VR recording system.”
Collective Effort

Dagnino and his new wife courageously spent their entire honeymoon savings on a headset and humble recording setup at a time when the future of VR was still very uncertain. They now have an entire team of professionals working with them to produce the latest VRLove content and because of this collective effort, the game is able to offer many cool features that others don’t.
The game offers two distinct styles of gameplay which the designers refer to as a “story” mode and a “free” mode.
Story Mode

The story mode stars a CGI model who is based on the porn star actress Amarna Miller. Amarna’s body was meticulously scanned and uploaded into the game using VRLove’s special recording process. The story mode offers a variety of different environments and interactions and according to Carlos is guaranteed to have a “happy ending if you know what I mean.”
Free Mode

The “free” mode is much closer to a sandbox style of play and allows you to customize your own character and explore the virtual world with minimal restriction. The VRLove website describes the customization as follows:
“Your only problem is that you like all of them: well, you can have all them. In VRLove you will be able to customize both your avatar and the partners you’ll “play” with, choosing their skin and hair colour, their measurements or height. And in our online shop, you will be able to choose their clothes too. Even though they don’t look bad at all when naked.”
Scanning Process

The process that the VRLove uses to import CGI models into the game is a very in-depth and takes hours for a single model. When asked about what it was like to have your naked body scanned for a sex game Amarna Miller described the experience as “very, very good.”
“the experience was very very good. I guess I spent about two or three hours being fully scanned. First the body, kind of like a “T” position with my arms, and then my face with the different expressions. I think that was the funniest part because I had to play like I was tired or happy or angry and it was something fairly different from what I usually do.”

Amarna goes on to describe what she thought was the most rewarding part of the experience which was being able to see the end result
“Probably the best part was being able to see myself in 3d. It’s kind of weird to discover parts of yourself that you don’t usually see like your back or I don’t know behind me.”
Growing Library
For the time being, the game only includes one full-body scan of Amarna Miller and the rest of the CGI models are generated by the design team. But the company has plans to scan many more famous porn stars in the future and, now that the procedural blueprint is in place, the library of actresses that are featured in the game should grow fairly quickly.
Multiplayer

A multiplayer version of the game is also in the works. The game mode is not yet available to the public but once it launches it hopes to provide one of the first real P2P servers for an adult VR game. How exactly this extra game mode is going to work, the company has yet to reveal, but the team has indicated that there will at least be some sort of shared server where you can “meet new people and chat, at least whenever you have a free hand to use the keypad”
It’s hard to say exactly what a multiplayer mode would mean but if it’s done correctly, it certainly has the potential to revolutionize the entire industry.
Exciting Horizons
VRLove’s multiple game modes and unique body scanning process make it one of the most promising games to come out for VR porn this year. It will be very exciting to see how the game evolves in the coming months.
Patreon Back Online
VRLove’s Patreon page was recently shut down by Patreon site administrators for an undisclosed reason. The news came as a shock to many vr porn game supporters who thought that VRLove was poised to make a significant contribution to the adult gaming scene. The page appears to be back online for now but it does raise concerns about Patreon and their growing influence over independent game developers.
Their Patreon page seems to be working just fine. You might want to remove the “update” in the last paragraph to avoid confusion.

Ive seen many promising games in intial stage they look good but then there is nothing much more in final version, hope this one would be different.
I’m looking forward to seeing what they do with this.
