WebVR has proven to be an important development in the field of Virtual Reality. It allows web browsers like Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox to offer VR support.
If a website like VRPorn.com integrates WebVR, users can step directly into the virtual reality porn experience and can stream VR porn videos easily from the web player without needing any sort of separate download.
Amazon Unveils Sumerian Tool
Amazon Web Services has now released Amazon Sumerian which provides developers with a suite of tools that make it very easy to create VR characters and apps. These applications can be viewed across different platforms like mobile devices, HMDs, digital signage and web browsers.
With the Sumerian Tool, developers can also create 3D characters to narrate and guide the user through immersive scenes. This means adult game developers can also make VR Porn CGI characters to create porn stories and sequences. Here is a brief introduction to Amazon Sumerian

As per Amazon, Sumerian editor lets developers create “realistic virtual environments, populate them with 3D objects and animated characters, and script how they interact with each other and the application’s users.”
The Sumerian Tool is completely web-based so developers don’t need to install any additional software. Moreover, they also don’t need any specialized tools for different tasks like lighting effects, 3D modelling, environmental design, animation, audio editing and others. Amazon says that the VR and AR apps created using Sumerian can run on any browser which supports WebGL or WebVR graphics rendering. The list of supported devices include HTC Vive, Google Daydream, and iOS mobile devices.
With the Sumerian tool, Amazon is expected to provide a library of pre-built objects and scenes. This library will allow users to import and download objects from 3D repositories like Turbosquid or Sketchfab and will even allow them to create objects from their own imagination. All the created Sumerian scenes will be hosted on Amazon’s AWS cloud.
Another interesting thing is Sumerian’s integration with AI frameworks like Amazon Lex and Amazon Polly. These frameworks will be responsible for activities like natural language understanding, automatic speech recognition, and text-to-speech capabilities of applications. This could mean that VR characters will be able to respond to user’s input queries and interact naturally to some extent.
Marco Argenti, Vice President, Technology, AWS said: “Customers across industries see the potential of VR and AR technologies for a wide range of uses—from educating and training employees to creating new customer experiences. But, customers are daunted and overwhelmed by the up-front investment in specialized skills and tools required to even get started building a VR or AR application. With Amazon Sumerian, it is now possible for any developer to create a realistic, interactive VR or AR application in a few hours.”
