Virtual reality has a lot of talented CGI animators looking towards adult entertainment right now. Surprisingly, some of the best content isn’t coming out of big studios but regular fans who just have a love for the art form. One such fan goes by the name of FantasySFM and he’s been specializing in CGI porn animations since the early days of VR.
The Name

FantasySFM gets his name from a popular software program named Source Filmmaker (SFM) that allows creators to take CGI models and animate them in 3d environments. The program was developed by popular gaming studio Valve and is now used by CGI artists across the globe to generate all kinds of sexy content.
Like much of the SFM stuff that’s out there right now, FantasySFM likes to make videos involving video game characters. Aside from just being a popular theme among fans, the models from video game characters also happen to be much more readily available than other types of renders making it the go-to choice for independent creators.
The Characters
Some of the video game characters that make an appearance in FantasySFM’s work include D.Va from Overwatch and Samus from Metroid. Rather than just use the models in a generic way, FantasySFM likes to spice things up by including multiple characters in a single scene and adding colorful environments to enhance the immersion.
FantasySFM often infuses his creations with high-energy techno music that gives the videos a refreshingly light-hearted feel and this upbeat music compliments the animations nicely. Although this kind of electronic noise can have the tendency to get abrasive at times, FantasySFM usually does a good job of balancing the levels.
Booty Room

The dance club vibe extends beyond just the music. This same aesthetic carries over into the visuals as well with many of the videos including strip clubs and rave-like environments. One great example of this can be found in a piece called “Booty Room Experience.” The setting of Booty Room is part strip club, part Dante’s Inferno and provides a beautiful backdrop for the booty based animations that take place there.
Even the more hardcore scenes are still accompanied by a cast of sexy extras dancing in the background. While all this additional action can be distracting at times, it also adds a welcome layer of depth that’s nice for the user.
Banana Swing

While FantasySFM definitely has a distinctive style, this doesn’t mean that they are afraid to venture out into unexplored territory and experiment with new ideas. One great example of this adventurous spirit can be found in their bizarrely erotic “Banana Swing” video.
It’s fair to say that FantasySFM boldly goes where no man has gone before when they bring a huge yellow fruit into outer space and use it to pleasure a woman of planetary proportions.
