How to Watch VR Porn on the Oculus Rift S vr porn blog virtual reality

There are two different ways to watch VR porn on the Oculus Rift and Oculus Rift S, stream or download it. Both methods are surprisingly easy. Below are the steps for each. If you are looking for our original Rift guide, you can find it here.

Make sure your PC is Oculus Rift / Rift S-ready:

First things first, check if your PC meets the minimum requirements to support your Rift or Rift S, you can find the minimum and recommended system specifications on the official support page here.

After confirming your PC’s compatibility, set up your headset using the official app here.

Streaming

  1. Launch Microsoft Edge, or Chrome.
  2. Go to VRPorn.com, choose a video, and press play.
  3. Select the VR mode icon dvr headset icon
    1. Accept the prompt asking for permission to launch VR.
    2. The Meta Quest Link App should launch
  4. Put on your Oculus Rift / Rift S and enjoy.

 

Downloading

    1. Open VRPorn.com on any browser.
    2. Choose a video and download it.
    3. Max Quality videos (or anything above 4K), require the HEVC codecs. For the smoothest playback, we recommend purchasing the official Microsoft HEVC codecs. For a free, less performant alternative, we recommend the LAV Filters DirectShow codecs.
    4. Play in the PLAY’A app
    5. In the Meta Quest Link App, install Play’a VR Video Player (Free)
    6. Run Play’a from your Meta Quest Link App Library
    7. Put on your Oculus Rift / Rift S.
    8. Navigate to the downloaded video by selecting “local files” using the bottom menu. Then use the shortcuts on the left to quickly find the download location. Once you find the video, all you have to do is select it. (See the image below).
    9. You may need to change the video layout using the settings (gear) at the bottom right of the video controls. To bring up the video controls, press the controller’s trigger after selecting a video. Most videos are designed to be viewed as 3D and 180 SBS. (See image below).

    Alternate VR Video Players:

    Despite Oculus recently retiring their official Oculus Video player, Rift owners are still spoiled for choice when it comes to great video apps.

    For those interested in a more general-purpose VR media viewer, Whirligig Media Player makes a great alternative. One of the few VR video players that also supports VR images (png and jpg) alongside standard video formats, Whirligig is also one of the cheaper video apps, going for a cool $3.99 USD.

    For a more premium experience, SkyBox VR is one of the best performing VR video players. With the free edition retired, the upgraded Skybox VR now costs $9.99 USD on the Meta Quest Link App Store.

    • You have to launch the video player app in the Oculus Headset, or in the Oculus App. Otherwise you’ll just see the Oculus Default Setup.
