Virt-A-Mate is a new VR porn game being developed for the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. The creator, MeshedVR, just released the first playable demo of the game this month and it’s already boasting some of the most impressive graphics in adult VR.

In the words of the developer “The goal of this project was to make realistic characters using a combination of realistic joint physics, soft body physics, skin-accurate collisions, and advanced rendering techniques. “
Judging by the above quote, it seems like MeshedVR has a fondness for the word “realistic” and the look of his game definitely reflects a similar set of priorities. While the character models are great, it’s in the animation department that Virt-A-Mate really shines. The fluid way the characters move is incredibly life-like and it’s the developer’s emphasis on motion rather than models makes Virt-A-Mate stand out from the competition.
Even in his brief description of the development process, we see multiple mentions of game physics and very few of the actual models themselves. It’s apparently this deep understanding of character animation or “physics” that allows MeshedVR to achieve such an impressive level of realism.
Detailed Models

The skin on the models is incredibly detailed and reflects the light of the virtual environment beautifully. The “advanced rendering techniques” that MeshedVR uses, allow for some stunning digital interactions between model and light that would have been nearly impossible just a decade ago. Watching the shadows fall across the model’s face as you manually move the light source around her body is a truly magical experience.
Community Response
Even though the demo just came out, the virtual reality porn community is already buzzing with excitement over this new game. Some MeshedVR fans are even taking it upon themselves to create Youtube trailers of the gameplay to help spread the word. One user, in particular, created a video displaying just how advanced the character customization options are.
Adjustment Controls
Virt-A-Mate offers all kinds of specific adjustment features so that you’re guaranteed to get the model of your dreams. Aside from the obvious face and body shape options, there are also controls to adjust more subtle features like makeup intensity and skin reflectiveness. For those who prefer a more exotic look, there’s even the option turn the girl into an alien.
New Features
MeshedVR may be an independent developer but he’s no noob when it comes to the development process. The creator realizes he has a long way to go before he can label Virt-A-Mate a finished product and he has a number of new features in the works.

The most recent of these features is the community sharing option. The open-ended nature of Virt-A-Mate’s gameplay allows for an almost endless number of possible CGI scenes. MeshedVR wants players to be able to share their unique creations with one another over a community server. He envisions a virtual interface for Virt-A-Mate where users can upload, download, and browse the digital sex scenes that others have created.
Such community interaction is basically unheard of in the VR porn gaming world, and it’s this type of creative vision that makes MeshedVR such an exciting developer. i can not access the menu to change the model the dev said its object above bed but i only have light and window for monitor options. am i missing something?
The option to change the model isn’t available in the free demo version
