Virt-A-Mate‘s latest has finally arrived! With it, comes a generous amount of new customization features and content updates. But was it really worth fifty days worth of waiting? Let’s find out!
Feature Additions
There’s lots to cover here!
First off, a new bedroom environment is now available. It has a modern aesthetic, looks great and generally runs smooth. As for cool new features, on the wall facing the bed, there is a TV you can browse the internet on! That way you can watch porn while being virtually deviant. It does require a bit of set up beforehand though. A super cool addition nonetheless! It should be noted that the on-screen browser doesn’t run all video types. Just keep that in mind when something doesn’t load.
There is also the new “Image Panel” tool. It allows you to load a gif or an image file be viewed on a panel in the VR porn game. If you wanna customize your character based on a doppelganger, I can see this tool being absolutely vital. If not, it’s still a handy little feature that has many uses in this context.
Beyond the changes above, a significant chunk of this update lies in the new customization features. That’s a good thing.
Customization Ovation
If you’ve seen my reviews for the past updates, you probably noted that I harped against VAM color customization restrictions quite harshly in the past. In former iterations, you were given a large array of clothing options that didn’t match therefore limiting your palette significantly.
That’s not the case anymore.
This update’s most prominent feature is the ability to customize clothing to a higher degree. It is now possible to tweak the color, textures, and CGI shader parameters of each article of clothing independently. Now, more than ever, mixing and matching clothing in VirtAMate is finally intuitive enough to be a delight. This small change made customizing my character a whole lot more fun than it was before. Cheers to more necessary changes like this one!
But wait. There’s more! Customization wise, anyways. High heels have finally been added to the adult VR game’s wardrobe. The new “Leslie” hairstyle is one of my favorite additions! And of course, the holiday wardrobe is the clothing highlight of this patch. Oh, and all the new morphs are very cool, if not a bit overwhelming. Neat!
Super solid additions all around in the customization category.
To the Future
Lately, Virt-A-Mate has been showcasing why it’s the current go-to adult VR experience. While it does suffer from optimization issues and the occasional bug, the game’s updates have been consistently well done. The next update is supposedly a bug fixing one, so we might be in for a content drought for a while. Not to worry, though! The current update is bound to keep you satiated for a while.
